This is our new favorite Thai place in Jersey City! Having thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at its sister location (Wondee Siam) in Hells Kitchen, we came to this restaurant with high expectations. Needless to say, One Dee Siam did not disappoint. The Thai Iced Tea was refreshing and not very sweet. Some of the dishes we had tried from the other place (e.g. Larb Gai, Minced Basil Chicken) were as good as we had remembered. The Curry Puffs were also very delicious. The Go Chai was a definite highlight and unlike anything we have tried at a Thai place before. The Penang Curry and Kee Mao were other dishes that we greatly enjoyed and quickly devoured. Pro tip while ordering: The rice with each entree are small, individual sized portions and the entree portions may also feel small if you are sharing among a group of 4. I'd recommend asking for extra rice and also checking with the server whether the amount you're ordering is sufficient. We ended up ordering an extra entree and an extra portion of rice after our initial order. The service is exceptionally quick though, and we didn't have to wait much at all. All in all, we had a lovely time and look forward to being back for more!

The next big Thai spot in Jersey City! I went with 4 friends and each of us loved our meal. The duck gra pow was cooked really well and had tons of taste to it. The curry puffs were incredible and the Thai spring rolls had a perfect flakiness to it. The ambiance is also really cool. They decorated simply but with purpose, and they have really cool wooden chairs. Also, you can’t beat this location!!!

Trending in the right direction to be the Thai staple in downtown JC. I’ve ate here probably 6 times split between takeout and dine in. With their grand opening things did started a little rough where service was poor and food was just alright. They were definitely under staffed and it was probably hard to hire. It looks like they’ve worked out their new restaurant pains. The last two times I ate there, the food is much better with more flavor. The service has also improved. I like every dish since then and am really enjoying this restaurant. Many of their specials are amazing especially the fried catfish salad and fried pork dish. I am also digging the papaya salad. I hope this trend continues and the quality continues to improve to a similar status like the Wondee Siam location in nyc.

If you're craving authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is a must visit! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and cozy, giving off a true sense of Thai culture without being overdone. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love put into each recipe. The spice levels were just right, and they were happy to adjust based on our preferences.

We had a good dining experience at the restaurant. The place feels very cozy and inviting so I liked the decor of the restaurant. All the food items were great. The only drawback was that we had to ask a few times some of the things such as sauce or napkins, but I understand that the servers get busy, so that was an improvement they can do. Overall, it's a good Thai restaurant.

Went as a party of 2 on a Tuesday summer evening. The place wasn't too crowded but wasn't empty either. The food was amazing and they had great vegetarian options. The Thai tea was was refreshing. The portion size is huge for a single person so I would recommend not ordering too much upfront!

I’ve only dined in once, every other time I have gone into the restaurant and ordered for takeout. They’re always incredibly efficient, I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for my food even on a Saturday night when the restaurant itself is packed. The food is consistently good, they’ve never made a mistake on my order, and I feel like the prices are reasonable for this part of town. If you dine in, it’s BYOB, which is a great way to save some money on a date because you can just take your own choice of wine or beer. We get takeout here at least every couple of weeks and I’ve only once been disappointed when the mango in my mango sticky rice was really really bland. Then again, it was not mango season so I was taking a gamble anyway! Would recommend that the chef taste a little piece of the mango before they put it in the dessert. Highly recommend otherwise.(we usually get the won’t rolls, curry bites, duck noodle soup and pork pad Thai)
